The ludicrous script just kept getting better and better in this 80s post-apocalypse flick where the women rule and somehow cavemen have inexplicably returned. Everything about this was picture perfect cheese. The dialogue was a patois of keywords and anything ending in -ing had the letter g dropped. It was as ridiculous as it sounds.
The hair metal soundtrack by Tony Berg was just plain awesome. This is one that I'd like to have and will have to research to see if I can find it.
The martial arts were surprisingly good. Where did this choreography come from? None other than Ernie Reyes, Sr.! That's amazin' and the physical stunts make this movie even more worth viewin' (See? It's really annoying).
This was writer/director David Engelbach's first and last feature film (he also wrote Death Wish II and Over The Top), which is heartbreakin' (Can't stop now, it's like a virus). He had great talent and it would have been great to see a followup.
"Hot scan what I say," indeed and see this if you're in the mood for a Grade A B-movie!
