Movie | Bangkok Dangerous | Pass

This hit man movie hit me at the right time and in the right mood. Was it great? No. But, I loved the Thailand setting, the bits of Wing Chun and knife flow drills and the simplicity of the plot (which turned a lot of critics off, I'm sure). There aren't any surprises here, just slow unraveling of this assassin's days, which he lives by rules that he has followed religiously in the past but, unsurprisingly, breaks continuously in this flick. The romantic scenes are ridiculous and Cage's hair is distracting, but I loved it any way. Not an upper, but a Pass in my book.
