Update: Turns out the whole thing doesn't quite gel. There are too many elements that don't flow. The constantly doubting police partners is a good example. Wouldn't they trust him a little after he solves practically every case magically? Still, I can understand why some folks would love it. It certainly is a well made show.
Update to the update: Well folks, turns out I was a bit wrong. The show started to really, really roll, getting better and better every episode (especially when the wife and the son weren't in it - no fault of the actors). And, of course, like all good shows it's been cancelled. This time around, they got one full season. Too bad - it was showing real promise.
