After all of the hype, I must admit that I was a bit disappointed. This is a mix of
Ong Bak (for the Thai connection),
The Game of Death,
La Horde and any other action flick that requires the good guys to travel different levels of a building fighting bad guys. This movie had some great martial arts, cinematography and music, but there really wasn't much of a story and the plot twists were not all that surprising. The 80s style ending was fine, if a bit underwhelming too. Still, this is a must see for martial arts and action movie fans. I just wish it had more depth. Then it would have been a PASS.
