Movie | Rammbock | PAss
Excellent, return-to-form zombie movie! I really enjoyed the pacing and the fact that it was refreshingly short, eliminating all of the wasted moments and focusing on proper character development instead of stupid things.

TV | The Bridge | PAss
Another excellent remake of a European crime drama featuring an fantastic cast, somewhat like The Killing.

Movie | Society | PAss
Utterly insane Twilight Zone-esque 80s horror by the writers of Bride of Re-Animator. Plenty of gross stuff, terrible acting, hilariously period correct and a brilliant story with a message. If your stomach can handle it, this is a definite 80s forgotten gem.

Movie | Flake & Flames | PASS
Brilliant documentary on the past and present of Kustom Kulture. A must see, especially if you enjoy the scene as much as I do - or more!

Movie | Safe | Pass
Sadly, Statham is doomed to make the same movie over and over and over. This one is a bit like The Professional.

Movie | Cloud Atlas | Fail
Insanely ambitious epic that mostly doesn't work. Visually stunning, but the plot is so purposefully messy that it takes all of the enjoyment and entertainment out of it. It's such a relief when there's a plain old action scene! Still, the few moments that take a breath and tie things together are actually almost worth the three hours of film. I think folks that say they liked this are secretly kidding themselves.

Movie | Barry Munday | Pass
Entertaining enough. Not hilarious, but actually full of character development and the cast is allowed to flex their acting muscles.
TV | Crossing Lines | Pass
It was okay. Not a ton to recommend about it, but it could develop into something interesting. Or not, we'll see. I have the feeling it won't make it and it doesn't have cult qualities.

Movie | Dante 01 | PASs
Super cool dark sci-fi thriller from one of the guys behind The City of Lost Children and Delicatessen and starring the always amazing Dominique Pinon. There is no ending. What was the last movie you saw that didn't have an ending?!?
Awesome!
Awesome!
Movie | The Heat | Pass
Cute, despite lots of filthy language and surprising violence. I'm sure there will be a sequel and we'll be seeing it.
