Movie | Red Dawn (2012) | Liked It
The original had three things; action, a great cast and cheesy 80s goodness. This remake had the first element and that was about it.

Movie | Gymkata | Liked It
Yes please, away. Sooooo bad and I haven't seen it in such a long time. I'd forgotten it's yet another retelling of The Most Dangerous Game. Thanks for loaning me your DVD copy, DayV!

Movie | Hector and the Search for Happiness | Really Liked It
Wonderful. Similar to The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, I enjoyed this even more.

Movie | Stone (1974) | Liked It
Cool Ozploitation flick featuring a couple of actors from Mad Max. Cheaply, quickly made and very dated, it was still a lot of fun. Definitely a cult classic.
TV | Big Time In Hollywood, FL | Didn't Like It
Nothing particularly special or interesting about this other than some really good actors are in it.

Movie | Automata | Really Liked It
Same premise as Blade Runner, Hardware and other movies that revolve around Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics. Like most of those films, this was really good. This was by first time full-length feature director Gabe Ibanez, whose biggest credit prior to this was some animation for the superb The Day of the Beast.

TV | iZombie | Liked It
Avoids the CW taint somewhat, mainly due to some clever dialogue. It will be tricky to stick with this over time, though.

Movie | Dead Snow 2 | Liked It
Funny how much it resembled the Evil Dead franchise. I liked it and there were some clever bits, but somehow I was a bit bored and it definitely felt less than original. It also didn't seem all that mature and it came across as a bit half-baked, as if Michael Bay had made a zombie movie in three days with the change he found in his couch.

TV | High School USA | Didn't Like It
Didn't like this one either, but it was a bit more clever than the rest with the Archie Comics-style animation and plot lines.
TV | Stone Quackers | Didn't Like It
Another animation that has no reason to be. The characters are walking, talking ducks but they could just as easily have been humans.
Movie | American Movie | Liked It
Very similar to American Movie, but this one revolves around martial arts instead of horror. I liked that movie better than this one, but it was well worth the seven bucks I paid to see it. There's one scene that I wish I could remove from my memory, but it was part of the plot and definitely progressed the main character towards the conclusion.
