When I read Joe R. Lansdale's books about the adventures of Hap and Leonard, I thought to myself, "This would make a great movie!" Well, they turned it into a television series and thank god they did. Just like in the books, the show contains a lots of homophobia, racism and other generally nasty things...I wonder if viewers won't understand that and there will be a backlash. Of course, nobody's watching it other than me, so that's probably not going to be a problem.
