I remember really enjoying this when it first came out. Now, after the passage of (much) time, I still enjoyed it. Certain elements were dated and slightly irritating, but it's still worth a watch. Part of the 80s classic films that featured kids in peril, this one is similar to
Pee-wee's Big Adventure,
The Goonies and
Adventures in the Forbidden Zone in that it features some super creative sets.
