Flight of the Conchords thrown in)...a slob learns to be a better adult from a kid. In this case it's his nephew. A simple, rather done premise sure. But well done, engrossing, entertaining and thus brilliant. Comparing a show like this to most US television shows is like comparing brie to spray cheese.
