My problem is that I hate period pieces. The saving grace here is that it's a black Britcom and there
were moments, mainly because Alexandra Roach (
Utopia) stars, there are several other notable cast members and Julian Barratt narrates (
The Mighty Boosh). But it wasn't enough for me. Julia Davis is clearly a genius but her brand of monotone humor drives me nuts.
