Movie | Curse of the Demon | Liked It

Also known as Night of the Demon. Val Lewton's fave director, Jacques Tourneur, strikes out on his own with quite good results. Except...he once again did what he did with Lewton and left much of the film up to the imagination of the viewer (yay!) but the producer decided to go in afterward and insert some shots that blatantly showed more of the horror (boo), which is a shame as it didn't need it. Still, a movie worth watching. Sam Raimi's Drag Me to Hell (which isn't particularly all that good) is an homage to this film.
