This disappointing 2009 modern romantic comedy about a guy who falls for a girl who doesn't believe in true love is uninvolved and dreadfully slooooow. There are some fun pop culture references and interesting filming, but it doesn't make up for the fact that the plot is moronic. We just plain didn't give a hoot about any of the characters.
I'm worried that Zooey Deshanel can't act. She seems so appealing, but just doesn't deliver. It's too bad. Maybe she just hasn't found the right role yet.
