his excellent 2007 documentary follows the real Olmstead family. Back in 2004, little 4 year old Marla was being heralded as a genius by the abstract (and greater) art world.
Then scandal ensued.
The film explores many topics, including the ridiculousness of the art world in general, what IS art and what is the proper care of a "child prodigy".
Fascinating stuff. Two paint smeared thumbs up.
