2008. Great cast, including Ron Perlman, Thomas Jane and a cameo by John Malkovitch.
Rather bewildering plot with several lapses in logic, but a neat mix of WWI, steampunk, secret monks who guard the world and zombies.
The strangest part of the whole thing was the, at times, laughable FX. Mostly they were good, but sometimes they wandered into a almost TV movie of the week style, extremely poor usage of green screen territory. Odd.
I rather enjoyed it, though. You might too, if you liked the Resident Evil and Underworld franchises.
