Movie | Pathfinder | Pass

I saw this 2007 flick back to back with In the Name of the King. The differences were night and day.

Like Outlander, it wasn't the greatest movie ever, but it was so stylishly done and the acting, plot and dialogue were good enough to recommend it to anyone who loved Beowulf, Conan and Tarzan.

The costumes and sets are straight out of a Frank Frazetta (and his ilk) painting.

This tale is about a young Viking orphan boy who is taken in and raised by a Native American tribe.

You can see where this one is headed, but it doesn't matter because this movie is so well done. I'm looking forward to more from the director, Marcus Nispel.

One and a half thumb up!
